Apple Watch users are having trouble unlocking their devices with their passcodes. Some have even resorted to using a computer to try and unlock their watches. If you’re one of these Apple Watch owners, there’s a good chance that you’ve noticed that your device is not unlocking with the default passcode. To fix this issue, you’ll need to update your iPhone to a newer version. If you don’t have an iPhone, there are plenty of other ways to fix the issue of not unlocking your Apple Watch with your passcode. You can try resetting your device, or trying a different passcode. If none of these methods work for you, then you may need to get help from a technician or AppleCare representative.
iOS 15.0.1 Is Here!
As mentioned, the main feature coming with iOS 15.0.1 is the fix for iPhones that couldn’t use the Unlock with Apple Watch feature to open their devices using Face ID while wearing a mask.

The original support document from Apple on the issues said:
Now, Apple has added a mention to update your device to fix the problem on that support page.
The update comes with a couple of other fixes as well. Some users were complaining about the Settings app reporting that their devices are full when they aren’t. With the latest iOS update, that shouldn’t happen anymore.
A minor issue caused Audio meditations to unexpectedly start a workout on Apple Watch for some Fitness+ subscribers, and that’s also been fixed with this update.
What About Other iOS 15 Bugs?
While these were the most coming iOS 15 issues, some users have reported problems with touch screen responsiveness and other bugs. It doesn’t appear that these issues were addressed in iOS 15.0.1, so if you’re facing touchscreen issues, you might have to wait a little longer for those to be fixed.
