As it’s a YouTube video, you’ll be able to watch it pretty much anywhere—be it a browser, on your phone, smart TV, or anywhere else with a screen and an internet connection.

This is a purely virtual event, so there’s no way to attend the event, even if you’re near the location. That means you get to hang out and learn about the latest gadgets from Samsung from the comfort of your couch, chair, or wherever you happen to be sitting.

What Do We Expect to See at Unpacked?

As the tagline for the event is “Get ready to unfold,” we expect Samsung to focus on its upcoming foldable smartphones. Specifically, we’re under the impression that the company will reveal the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. As the names imply, these are the third iteration of the foldable phones, so our expectations are relatively high. Samsung has had plenty of time to work out the early kinks, so it’s time for the foldable phones to shine.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to be Samsung’s full-sized flagship foldable with a hefty price tag. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a clamshell phone with a smaller form factor and a lower price tag.

As far as the look of the devices, we’ve seen leaked renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and it looks a lot like the previous phone.

A new leak suggests that the foldable phones will be water-resistant this year, a significant upgrade from the previous models that were a bit too fragile.

We’ll have to wait and see precisely what Samsung decides to announce, but one thing is for sure: we’ll be here at 10 a.m. ET on August 11, 2021, watching along with all of you.
